PurchaseKorea started with four friends from kindergarten trying to do something that should’ve been simple. In our case, sending a gift to family back in South Korea. Turns out it wasn’t simple at all.

We went looking for help and found plenty of services willing to take our money. What we didn’t find was one that made sense. Prices crept up with no explanation. Shipping fees seemed to be invented on the spot. Selection was thin, and the whole process felt like more trouble than it was worth.

So we built the thing we wished existed. One with no price hikes, shipping markups, and hidden fees. Just one clear service fee, no surprises hiding in the fine print.
